PLAYING WITH PRINTS

This isn’t your grandmother’s floral print. Collections featured Caribbean-flora inspired prints in contemporary silhouettes and treatments. From coordinated sets at Bene Caribe and Mark Eastman, to printed maxi dresses at Peter Elias, playing with print remains a Caribbean style staple.

YOU HAD ME AT YELLOW

We’re walking on Sunshine! Without the boundaries of “seasons”, designers embraced the made-for-summer colour in lightweight, breeze fabrics for the Resort shows. From punchy lemon island-it-girl blouses at Bene Caribe to muted butterscotch shirtdresses at Linkage, there’s a perfect yellow for everyone!

ON-THE-GO STREETWEAR

Featuring the Caribbean aesthetic that we love, paired with a comteporary on-the-go sensibility; designers channelled a modern customer who appreciates easy wardrobe essentials with personality! From exaggerated floral print casuals at DADL to ankle cuffed trousers at Linkage, it’s the new age of street style!

WHITE HOT

Crisp whites should be considered a staple of Caribbean style, and this season, collections turned up the volume on this classic by featuring unexpected fabrics, embellishments, hardware and textures – from mesh, lace and feather details at Ry Chan to reflective treatments at SJW Designs.
